I live in the Dunbar area of Vancouver. I have two electric aircraft I would be happy to give to anyone who would like to pick them up - first come, first served. I retired them about 10 years ago - both were in working condition, but I imagine the batteries have probably had it by now. Pictures are attached
The more elaborate is a BLADE CP Micro Class electric helicopter, 20.626" long. It is almost identical to an E-Sky Honeybee. I have held on to it all this time because I was afraid of a child getting hold of it and doing severe harm to himself or others. I have a drawer full of spare parts including a new set of carbon fibre blades, a spare frame, and a spare body.
The other is a styrofoam Parkzone SLO-V (3 proportional channels) which I believe came from Australia. I never had much success with it because it is so light any breeze tosses it around too much. Ideally it could be used for aerobatics in a big gym or warehouse. It would be good for a beginner to learn with, given the right location. I have two transmitters for it, configured differently.
As I said, I'd happily give them to anyone who would use them responsibly, or even make use of the radios and actuators in another project.
